The treehouse characters were made for a TV pilot and are designed to look like home-made toys. There were 5 characters altogether; Dot the ladybird, Magnus the owl, Spike the hedgehog, Squiggle the squirrel and Badger… the badger. I made the heads as well as some of the other plastazote elements, like the feet.
Final fitting of the costumes. You can see me adjusting the head cradle for optimum vision and checking the necklines of the characters.

The characters had to look like they were sleeping for one shot so I made them all eyelids. They were magnetic so you couldn’t see the attachment when they weren’t on the masks.
